Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Instrumentation (Southern CA & Southern NV)

Location: Candidate must be physically based in Southern California to effectively cover the Southern California and Southern Nevada sales territory.

Our portfolio includes Flowmeters, Pressure Transmitters, Level and Temperature Controls, Analytical Instruments, Gauges, Valves and Pump-Related Products. We serve a wide range of markets with a focus on Municipal Water & Wastewater, HVAC, and Industrial Process applications.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in instrumentation and a proven track record of sales growth. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing accounts across Southern California and Southern Nevada, with a strong focus on municipal water/wastewater markets, Industrial and Building Automation/HVAC applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth across assigned territory by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
  • Manage and grow relationships with Municipalities, Contractors, Engineering Firms, Electrical Integrators/Subcontractors, and Distribution Partners.
  • Provide technical support and product recommendations based on customer needs and application requirements.
  • Conduct product presentations, lunch & learns, and training sessions for customers and partners.
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies in alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Must reside in Southern California with the ability to travel throughout Southern CA and Southern Nevada.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of outside sales experience in instrumentation or related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of Water/Wastewater applications is required.
  • Experience in Municipal, Industrial and HVAC applications is highly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with Contractors, Engineering Firms, Distributors, and System Integrators in the territory are a significant plus.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
